The caffeine at Cole Street Coffee House is what we all needed to jump-start the Monday after spring break!
This morning we were welcomed by Kea Runyan and the rest of the staff to this community-focused business in Bushnell. While sampling frappe and coffee cake, we learned about the mission, vision, and values that drive the business operation.
When starting a new business, Kea stressed the importance of “find someone else who does the same business - does it well (you respect their business model!) - and then glean all the information you can from them.” Find the experts. Ask them ten thousand questions. Then make your business your own, but don’t reinvent the wheel.
