“Opportunity is everywhere!”
This morning we were joined by local entrepreneur Anne Ingersoll. As she talked with us, Anne handed out some local newspapers, directed the students to the classified/service ad section in the back, and encouraged them to find more opportunities for business ventures in our communities based on what they saw (or didn’t see!). They came up with some good ideas!
Anne recently won 2nd place in the City of Macomb Small Business Pitch Competition to launch Bloom Macomb. She has specific plans to open a floral shop in the next year. Anne also currently owns and runs a consulting business, College Bound Associates, LLC. Thanks to Anne for joining us and sharing your experience, ideas and inspiration!
