Tuesday’s business visit to the Bushnell Market was chock full of advice about work ethic and success. Rocky Puri is the new owner of this local grocery store that has been in the community for 70 years. He was born in India, started a shop there as a young man, and eventually brought his business sense to the U.S.
After turning around the IGA store in another small Illinois community, he saw opportunity in Bushnell. He takes pride in working the store every day, knowing his customers, keeping the store clean and orderly, and supporting the local community.
After a lot of discussion and tour of the store, Rocky FaceTimed his mother in India to have us say hello to her. Thank you, Rocky, for giving us your time and sharing your life experiences!
