When we live our life with more mindfulness and reflection, we live with more intentionality.

Mindfulness is paying attention - on purpose. Reflection is pausing - on purpose. Both of these concepts were the subject of our session this morning. Mindfulness & reflection are valuable tools for leadership development, and will only benefit our young entrepreneurs as they work their way through the CEO experience this year.

Carissa Kinman, a serial entrepreneur who serves on the CEO Board of Directors, walked our team members through some exercises in mindfulness and reflection this morning. We were lucky enough to have a beautiful morning and peaceful setting at Lakeview Nature Area & Center. Putting these concepts into practice isn't always easy, but the speaker and the location certainly helped put us in the right mindset.
