“Knowing the answers will help you in school. Knowing how to question will help you in life.” - Warren Berger

Asking questions is an integral part of the CEO program. Today, we took time to learn a bit more about the ‘art of conversation’ with a local journalist. Rich Egger, News Director with Tri States Public Radio, welcomed us into the station with a little tour, followed by some discussion about asking questions and how “not” to interview someone. (You make it a conversation!)

We were also joined by General Manager Heather Norman and Development Director Stephanie Foulk. They fielded many more questions about TSPR itself, and helped us understand the purpose it serves in the community. In the age of podcasts & streaming services, we left with a much better understanding of why public radio is still important today.
