Today, our CEO students had the opportunity to learn all about the Better Business Bureau from Don O'Brien, Regional Director for BBB Quincy.

Building and maintaining trust in the marketplace is a foundational pillar for any business. Don provided our class with an overview of the BBB’s role in supporting honest commerce and shared practical insights on the basics of establishing credibility as a business leaders.

He also tackled an important and timely topic: common scams and consumer fraud. With younger demographics increasingly targeted by scammers online and via social media, understanding how to spot red flags and protect personal and professional data is essential for the next generation of young entrepreneurs.

We talked through a lot of real-life scenarios and left the room with a better understanding of how to build trust as a business owner, how to be a savvy consumer, and how to spot a scam. These valuable lessons in consumer awareness and business integrity are important for us all.
