Our CEO team had a fantastic experience earlier this week, being among more than 130 high school entrepreneurs representing 10 regional CEO programs at Western Illinois University for the annual CEO Leadership Summit!

The day was packed with energy, learning, and fresh perspectives, giving our students a great opportunity to step outside their comfort zones and build real-world skills.

Key Highlights:

Unlocking Entrepreneurial Magic: Speaker Chris Egelston from the Midland Institute for Entrepreneurship brought an incredible mix of magic and practical wisdom, sharing fun, actionable tips for public speaking, engaging an audience, and networking.

Peer Networking: Students were intentionally seated with peers from other CEO programs across central Illinois, giving them a chance to practice networking and build new connections across county lines.

Lead for Good: Dan Teefey, President of the Tracy Family Foundation, wrapped up the summit with an inspiring message about leadership - reminding us that true leaders influence, change, discern, and execute for good.

Thank you to our awesome speakers for sharing their time, and to Dr. Honey Zimmerman with the WIU College of Business, Health, and Community Programs (School of Accounting & Business Administration) for hosting and making an opportunity like this possible for our students!
