Earlier this week, Tom Conklin - State Farm Macomb joined us and talked about how an unlikely Ag Econ and Music student at the University of Illinois came into his dream career. At age 16, Tom knew he wanted to be an insurance agent and help people mitigate risk in life.
We covered the spectrum of insurance coverage from auto to business. We learned the basic requirements for Illinois drivers as well as the importance of tracking expenses and liabilities for businesses.
