About Me

Matthew Whitman is a senior at West Prairie High School. Throughout his high school career, Matthew has maintained a spot on the High Honor Roll and earned induction into the National Honor Society, where he serves as Vice President.

A dedicated athlete and student leader, Matthew is a member of the Student Council, serves as a class officer, and competes in baseball, basketball, and golf. He demonstrates strong leadership on and off the field, serving as team captain for both the baseball and golf teams, and earning First Team All-Conference honors in baseball every year of his high school career. Giving back to his community, Matthew regularly volunteers his time officiating and supporting youth sports in little league baseball, softball, and basketball.

Through his participation in the McDonough County CEO program, Matthew hopes to master the art of networking and build meaningful connections with community leaders and prospective customers. He is eager to refine his leadership skills to guide teams effectively while maintaining high morale and productivity. Ultimately, Matthew aspires to build a career driven by passion and freedom, turning his personal interests into a rewarding venture.
